Website Down

Hi OH-NO Fans. As of right now, I am shutting down the OH-NO website. It isn't permanent, no, I am switching over to Wordpress to run my site more efficiently. I have been thinking about doing this for a while now, and I am going to give it a shot by testing it out for this weeks OH-NO. If it doesn't work, I will have the site back to normal by Tuesday. So as of the posting of this, my site will be wiped off the server so that the Wordpress stuff can be put in. Also if everything works, I will update the readers of this feed of any changes.

I wanted apologize for the lack of comic this week. There will still be a comic, I promise. I just don't know when yet. I have my people working on it (aka: me). So please just bear with me. As I said before, this isn't my full time job (though I wish it was) so sometimes life gets in the way. Thanks for your understanding and keep reading OH-NO!

Here is this weeks OH-NO Comic. I hope you enjoy it, I am kinda tired tonight as I am writing this and I have a headache, so I wont say much. Our fund drive will be coming to a close this week, our goal is $300 and so far we have made: $0. We have a ton of money to make in just ONE DAY, so lets pull together and pull OH-NO out of the red, please! Enjoy this weeks comic.

Fire Breathing Rabbit OH-NO for 3/24/2007

Happy Easter OH-NO Fans!!
What better way to celebrate than by seeing a fire breathing bunny rabbit conjured from a magicians top hat. This is now my third comic featuring fiery skeletons. If you forget which ones, they were this one and this one. Maybe I should have my head examined, or maybe I should try more unusual ways for people to be fried in. Hmmm. I know that there are at-least seven people subscribed to this feed, so that proves that people actually read OH-NO, however not one person has risen to the challenge for the fund drive. Time is running out, please donate! Also, I am looking into submitting comics to several periodicals and I want YOUR help. Basically, of the OH-NO from 2007 & 2008, which are your favorites? Answer by either using the e-mail author button, or the make contact page. Just pick your top five OH-NO's!

Curiosity Killed the Cat! OH-NO Comic for 3/17/2008

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Well, at least for the next minute it is. It's 11:59 as of this posting, so that means I just barely got this post and comic online. Sorry about the late post, I went on a hike yesterday and it got cold fast and I ended up with a nasty headache and chills. So I didn't get the technical stuff done las night as I had planned. But I did get it up tonight!!! Woo Hoo! So I hope you enjoy the comic, photos of the comic in sketch and ink will be on Flickr tomorrow sometime. Also, we still have a few weeks for the fund drive and our original artwork is up for grabs still, so show your support today (or tomorow, since there is only one minute left in today) Also wanted to mention my Charlie Brown moment while drawing this weeks OH-NO, some one must have switched my pen with the one Charlie Brown used to write his pen (pencil) pal. Twice it decided to blort out big bubbles of ink, when the Flickr photo goes up, be sure to check it out and see if you can spot the white out. Thank God for white out.

MOnday Monday

As you may have noticed, there is no comic today. One reason for that, I am tired. Ever since this time change, it has been difficult to get anything done after work. So as a way of giving me some more time to complete comics, they will now be available every monday starting on Monday March 17th 2008. So I will see you on Monday.

March Fund Drive 2008

As I posted in an earlier post, we are holding a fund drive here at OH-NO Comics. Why? Well I am broke and the money spent on advertising and web services has put Blueberry Arts in the red. Well, It wont be hard to bring us back in the black again and help this comic out. We do have a store, we sell t-shirts, prints, hats, and even jigsaw puzzles. And donations, here is what we will do if you make a donation:

I want to make about three hundred dollars in donations. Now, that shouldn't be to hard, in fact we had almost 1000 visitors to the site in February. If everyone donated $1, we would have $1000. Here is what I will do for you, If you donate $75 you get a framed print of todays comic, signed; donate $100 get a print of all five February comics, also signed. And here is the grand prize, the first person to donate $300 or more will get todays original artwork, signed and all five February prints. So what are you waiting for, go make a donation!! Oh, and remember this only lasts until April first.

Also if you are a webmaster looking for a place to advertise, consider advertising with us, we have several little ad boxes starting at 3-cents a day and a full size banner on every page. All of our ads are powered through project wonderful.

Also I would like you the reader to tell me what you think about OH-NO. I finally finished the contact page and no one has sent me a message. That tells me one thing, does anyone even read this comic??? Is it worthwhile for me to continue? Dear God, I hope so. So if you read this comic, please drop me a line, I could use the moral support as well as the monetary support.

OH-NO from 1998

I recently unearthed this early incantation of OH-NO. This was drawn by hand without the aid of rulers on a cheap piece of newsprint paper in my eleventh grade art class. I then went on to color it with crayons. Here I have been saying that I have been drawing OH-NO since 99 when in reality this proves I had been drawing it (at least under the OH-NO name) since 98. This might be the first or second comic to have the OH-NO starburst in the corner. There is another comic from that time that still remains lost to me, it has a car driving off a cliff with a starburst balloon stating, "OH-NO, not again." I think that is where the title may have come from. But any-who, this marks the end of classic OH-NO's for now. I have two others to share with you that the original artwork sits in the office of the D&E Senator from two occasions on which the school library closed before I could make copies and I had a deadline. So look for those and possibly some sketches in the future! Well till next time,

Whoopsie doodle, it appears after a long week of concerts, car accidents, dentist visits, funerals and the ever present full time job, I seem to be too tired to even barely sketch out this weeks OH-NO. Sorry folks. But don't fret! There will still be a new comic, it will update sometime on Friday evening and no later than Saturday. I dont know what else to say, I am exhausted. I hope you have been enjoying classic OH-NO's on wednesday. That will be drawing to an end soon, we are now showing our 2003 comics and I will start showcasing a scrapbook my sister made of all the newspapers that OH-NO was in while I was in school.
